$165.00 and my affiliate link is here.
I hate it when a salesperson makes you wait to the end of the presentation before they'll tell you the price of their product or what you get for your money. I'm not a salesperson. I'm here to share information. Buy, don't buy. That part's up to you. If you want to know why I think $165.00 is more than worth it, read on.
For $165.00, you get:
* 12 bottles of essential oils
(lemon, lavender, frankincense, digize, panaway,
peppermint, citrus fresh, raven, valor, peace & calming,
thieves and stress away)
* 1 diffuser - either the dewdrop or the desert mist
* 2 samples of Ningxia Red - YL's essential oil-infused
* 1 sample of Thieves cleaner (chemical free household
cleaner in concentrated form)
* 1 small bottle of Thieves hand purifier
* A wholesale membership with Young Living (wholesale
members pay 24% less than retail customers on future oil
(If you buy via my affiliate link, I get a commission.
Hope you're cool with that!)
Now that you know what essential oils are, how to use them and where to get them, I want to tell you WHY I think you should spend $165.00 on a Young Living kit, when you buy essential oils through another company or at a big box store for less.
Did you know you can buy steak at the Dollar Tree? It's true. I've seen it. Listen, I am ALL ABOUT saving a buck, but not if it's going to poison my body. Essential oils affect your brain and absorb into your skin and your bloodstream. I use oils on myself and my kids. I am going to use the highest quality oils I can get my hands on.
Cost is not the only indicator of quality, of course. Young Living is the only essential oil company I'm aware of that owns its own farms. They choose land that has never been farmed before. They don't use pesticides, insecticides or fertilizers. They HAND WEED, people! I don't even like to hand weed my butterfly garden.
Young Living distills its own oils using ZERO chemical solvents. Other essential oil companies know you can extract more oil using chemical solvents. As long as they maximize profits, what do they care if those solvents end up in the product you rub on your kids' feet at night?
Young Living oils are 100% oil. The FDA has this little rule that says that if a bottle of essential oil contains just 5% (FIVE, not fifty, FIVE percent) essential oil, it can be labeled as 100% essential oil. So those $1.00 oils at Target or the $20.00 kit at the grocery store will cost you more in the long run because you'll get maybe one or two uses out of a whole bottle. I have bottles of Young Living oil that have lasted me two years. When your oils are pure, 100% therapeutic grade, you only need a drop or two to realize the benefit.
It's not magic. It's science. Oils are powerful, concentrated constituents that can improve mood, sleep, immune system function and overall wellness. For my money, Young Living's oils are the best. You get to be your own health advocate. I know you'll choose wisely.
